Threadworms are highly contagious. There are often no symptoms but the common signs of threadworm infestation are persistent scratching of the bottom, restless sleep, loss of appetite and irritability.

Combantrin combats threadworms and the rare worms, roundworm and hookworm, in just one hit. The dosage is tailored to treat your family, from babies of 6 months and over.

Ingredients:
Pyrantel Embonate (each square contains 100mg). Also contains lactose and sucrose. Free of gluten and artificial colours.

Dosage (threadworms):
Take ONE 100mg square for EACH 10kg of body weight up to a maximum to 10 squares. Repeat dose after two weeks. Take as a single dose, after food.

For example:
For a 30kg child - take 3 squares as a single dose
For an 80kg adult - take 8 squares as a single dose

Warnings:
If pregnant consult your pharmacist or doctor prior to use. Do not give to children under 1 years of age. If roundworm, hookworm or whipworm are suspected seek medical advice.

Side effects: Upset stomach, loss of appetite, headache; dizziness; drowsiness; and difficulty sleeping; rash.

Additional advice:

  • Clean clothing and living quarters thoroughly to prevent reinfestation.
  • Treat all family members.
