Butacort is for the short term treatment (or prevention) of the symptoms of hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis). It only works on the area where it is sprayed - the nasal passage. The active ingredient is a corticosteroid which reduces the inflammation of the lining of the nose, reducing the symptoms of hayfever, such as a runny nose, sneezing, and congestion.

Active Ingredients:

Budesonide 50mcg per spray.

Dosage:

Adults and children over 12yrs: 1 or 2 sprays into each nostril morning and night for 3 days then 1 spray in each nostril twice daily.

Warnings:

You should consult your doctor before using your spray if you;

• are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
• are breast feeding.
• have ever had to stop taking a product because you were allergic to it or it caused problems.
• have had recent nasal surgery.
• have a tendency to nose bleeds.

• Systemic side effects may occur if dose is exceede over a prolonged period.
